To capture the life and atmosphere at Place2BU in photos that we use on the website, social media, and posters. In doing so, you showcase our community.

What are you going to do?
To write clear, inviting texts for the website that explain who we are and what we do.

Enjoyment of writing, a feel for language, and the ability to make information engaging.

To help build our website in Wix and contribute ideas regarding structure, design, and content.

MANAGEMENT
Board member
Do you want to become a new board member of the Housing Association Place2BU?
The Place2BU residents' association is managed by a rotating board. The board typically consists of four to six people, but more or fewer is possible. The board focuses on the (financial) direction of the association and maintains contact with other organizations, such as the community coaches and management.
Why participate?
Being a board member is a dynamic way to contribute to your community. You learn to work together and develop yourself.
What are the requisites?

You live at Place2BU;

You are (usually) available for a weekly meeting;

You can free up 1-3 extra hours per week, depending on your role.

COMMUNITY CENTER
Plant Whisperer
What are you going to do?
To ensure that the plants in the central building are always happy and green by giving them water and attention. Repotting or extra care occasionally is also part of the job.
What do you bring to the table?
You have a green thumb (or want to develop one) and you enjoy creating a pleasant, green atmosphere.

Clothing Swap King/Queen
What are you going to do?
To ensure that the clothes rack remains neat and inviting. You sort the clothes, remove items that have been hanging too long, and give them to the coaches for the thrift store. Occasionally, you create a new sign with explanations for users.

You have an eye for order and sustainability, enjoy working with clothing, and are eager to help others find a new outfit.

What are you going to do?
If something is loose or squeaking in the center building, you jump in to fix it. You pick up small jobs with ease so that everything keeps running smoothly.

You are handy, practical, and enjoy repairing things.

To keep the game cabinet neat and complete. You ensure that all boxes are returned in good condition, check that nothing is missing, and make it appealing to pick up a game.

What are you going to do?
To keep the free-to-take shelf neat and organized. You sort the items, remove anything that takes too long, and ensure the shelf looks inviting.

Movie MaSTER
What are you going to do?
You'll organize a monthly movie night, from Halloween movie night to a Star Wars marathon. Both new and old films will be featured (including old Disney films!).

You have an eye for themes and which films resonate well with the community. Broad knowledge of films is a plus.

What are you going to do?
To ensure that the floor of the central building is regularly mopped. You also indicate if cleaning supplies are needed to do this.

You love cleaning and enjoy it when the floor smells like flowers again.

CATERING Crew
Breakfast hero(ine)
What are you going to do?
On Wednesdays and/or Fridays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, you'll help prepare the cozy community breakfast in the center building. You'll put the croissant rolls in the oven, place a fruit bowl, make coffee, and ensure everything is ready. Afterwards, of course, you join in to enjoy it too – the breakfast is free for you! Do you have fun ideas for new breakfast dishes? Feel free to suggest them.

You enjoy working with food, love a good time, and like helping to create a great start to the day.

EVENTS
Bicycle fixer
What are you going to do?
If a bike rattles or creaks louder than it should, you don't panic, but think: How can we fix this?! You patch tires or provide other first aid for bike problems.
What do you bring to the table?
You know how to patch a tire and enjoy tinkering with bicycles.

Filmclub Starter
What are you going to do?
You organize a movie discussion, naturally after you have watched the movie (together).
What do you bring to the table?
You enjoy watching movies and get completely immersed in them. You know exactly which actor is who and where the film was shot. And if you didn't know yet, you look it up!
